Addressing My Team on the Ukraine Crisis

This is an email I sent to my team addressing the current Ukraine crisis.

First, senseless war (which is all war) is disgusting in today's day and age.

We've gone through the ages of the Industrial War Complex, and it ruins lives and puts profit in a few people's pockets.

I'm very sad and carry a heavy heart for the Ukrainian people and all Russian citizens against senseless killing.

War is about ego, and ego in any life domain is the enemy.

Our egos are what cause so much pain and suffering.

Whatever your religion or beliefs are, please keep everyone who is forced into this war in your thoughts.

They will need all the mindfulness, compassion, and empathy they can get.

---

With that out of the way, I'd like to update you on what we're doing as a team and for our clients.

Everything we've been doing, with the continued goal of making it ridiculously easy to do business with us.

Our clients and future clients are mainly in Africa, Asia (excluding China), Latin America, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim.

They continue to face issues and trends with a complex supply chain, shortages in personnel (due to COVID), and now likely higher gas prices.

We offer a dramatic simplification of their aircraft maintenance material supply chain, and we'll continue this focus.

We'll also continue to focus on in-sourcing and relying on partners in countries with specific values on an international scale (which excludes Russia, China, and any embargoed or sanctioned country).

This geopolitical ego stroke does not currently affect our clients, and no international team members are in the region.

In closing...

Please remember we live in a hyper-connected world and that every life matters greatly.

So, I leave you with this:

No matter your religion, The World is our Family.

"God hath made of one blood all nations of men." Christianity

"All are the sons and daughters of God, good people all, Brothers and Sisters, since created by One Father. No rooted difference is there between them." Hinduism

"Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother?" Judaism

"All creatures are the family of God; and he is the most beloved of God who does most good to His family." Islam

"Do not forget that the world is one great family . . . Regard Heaven as your father, Earth as your mother, and all things as your brothers and sisters." Shintoism

"God is the Father, Earth the Mother. With all things and in all things, we are relatives." Sioux Native American
